Walk & Talk

I am all for the traditional therapy office visit. It’s mostly what I’ve done my whole therapy life (personal & professional). But that doesn’t mean it’s the only option. Sometimes, we need a break from the couch. The day is beautiful and we want to get some movement in. Let’s do it!

Walking is a natural form of bilateral stimulation (relaxing movement that engages the left & right hemispheres of your brain). So basically it feels good to your mind & body. We can walk around the business park as we process your life stories as we would in the office. Hopefully soon, meeting at a local park will be an option as well since being in nature can be calming. Be aware that I cannot guarantee confidentiality while out in public and this activity is weather permitting.
